Looking to earn your initial ASES Rating or refresh your float flying skills? Our comprehensive program takes you on a journey to master the art of floatplane flying. Conducted over three days, our course immerses you in the world of amphibious flying, utilizing the versatile CubCrafters Top Cub as your training platform. With 5 hours of flight time and 8 hours of structured ground school, participants undergo intensive instruction, complete with thorough pre and post-flight briefings to ensure mastery of essential skills. The checkride is conducted on the third day to assess proficiency and readiness.
PERSONALIZED
Training
At TacAero, we prioritize personalized instruction. Each participant is paired with a dedicated Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) to provide individualized attention and guidance throughout the entire training course. Armed with a comprehensive student pack, including kneeboard, checklists, and study materials, you'll be fully equipped for the floatplane course. A pilot's logbook and valid pilot's certificate are all that is required from participants.
