Single Engine Seaplane Rating
Our Single Engine Seaplane Rating Course is a three-day program designed for pilots seeking their initial Airplane Single Engine Sea (ASES) Rating. Train in CubCrafters Top Cub Amphib (CC18-180A) with eight hours of ground school covering seaplane operations, water dynamics, regulations, and emergency procedures, plus six hours of flight time. Pre- and post-flight briefings enhance each lesson, building your confidence in amphibious operations. Master the skills needed to operate seaplanes with precision and safety. Single Engine Seaplane Refresher
The Single Engine Seaplane Refresher is a 2-day course designed for pilots who already hold an ASES rating and want to sharpen their skills on the water. Whether you’re returning to seaplane flying after time away or simply looking to rebuild proficiency before future operations, this program provides the perfect balance of review and practice. Training in the CubCrafters Top Cub Amphib (CC18-180A), you’ll complete 4 hours of ground instruction on regulations, emergency procedures, and water operations, paired with 6 hours of flight time to reinforce confidence at the controls. With personalized, one-on-one instruction and the aircraft reserved exclusively for you, this course ensures you return to seaplane flying with precision, readiness, and peace of mind.
Single Engine Seaplane Discovery
The Single Engine Seaplane Discovery Course is a one-day experience created for pilots eager to sample the world of water flying. Designed as an introduction rather than a full rating program, it combines 2 hours of ground instruction on floatplane fundamentals, water dynamics, and introductory procedures with 2.5 hours of hands-on flight training in the CubCrafters Top Cub Amphib (CC18-180A). Whether you’re considering future seaplane training or simply want to enjoy the thrill of amphibious flying, this course offers an exciting first step into the unique challenges and rewards of seaplane aviation.
